Hosted America hires top executive to run its Enterprise Services Division

Chris Murphy has been working in telecom and network engineering since the beginning of his professional career. He has served as Vice President of Technology and Operations for companies such as Southeastern Telecom, Altus and most recently Momentum Telecom. Mr. Murphy helped to build one of the most prominent hosted voice and collaborations companies while standing up one of the first Cisco Webex calling platforms. His team also sold and deployed the first Transera Contact Center prior to Broadsoft (now Cisco) acquiring them. That said, one of his greatest success stories is most likely his deployment and rollout strategy for a 2k plus seat, 320 site Cisco Webex customer which happened within an 8-week window over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also, notably, during the pandemic, Mr. Murphy was contacted by the New York State Department of Labor with an urgent request to turn up 2k calling and contact center seats in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was accomplished in just one weekend over the Easter Holiday. Chris has been recognized by both his peers, as well as industry leaders, as one of the top Voice and Collaboration experts.
