Hosted America Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 20, 2026

Hosted America ("Hosted America," "we," "us," or "our") provides internet, network, and related telecommunications services to our customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website at hostedamerica.com (the "Site"), subscribe to or use our internet and network services (the "Services"), or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

  1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and Contact Information: name, mailing and service address, email address, phone number, billing and payment information, and account credentials.
  • Service and Network Usage Information: information about the internet and telecommunications services you use, such as connection times, session duration, data usage, IP addresses, equipment and device identifiers, and network performance and diagnostic data.

  1. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you (for example, when you sign up for Service, contact support, or use our website), automatically through your use of the Services and network equipment, and from third parties such as credit reporting agencies, payment processors, and marketing partners.

  1. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, repair, and improve the Services and the Site;
  • Establish and manage your account, and bill and collect payment for Services;
  • Monitor, secure, and troubleshoot our network and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use;

  • Comply with legal obligations, law enforcement requests, and industry regulations; and
  • Analyze usage trends to improve network performance and customer experience.
  1. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

What CPNI Is. CPNI includes information about the services you subscribe to, how you use them, and related billing details. Federal law restricts how telecommunications providers may use, disclose, and permit access to CPNI.

How We Use CPNI. We may use your CPNI, without additional consent, to provide the Services you have requested, to bill for those Services, and to market services within the same category of service you already receive from us (for example, offering a higher-tier internet plan to an existing internet customer).

Your Right to Restrict Use of CPNI. You have the right to restrict our use of your CPNI for marketing purposes outside the categories described above. You may opt out of such use of your CPNI at any time, at no charge, by contacting us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below. Your decision to restrict use of your CPNI will not affect the provision of any services to which you subscribe.

  1. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

  1. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: vendors who perform functions on our behalf, such as billing, payment processing, network maintenance, and customer support, and who are contractually obligated to protect your information.
  • Legal and Safety Purposes: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hosted America, our customers, or others.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With Your Consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time you provide information, or with your consent.

Any disclosure of CPNI is subject to the restrictions described in Section 4 above and applicable federal law.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
